About Paul Marsh

I have been working in the marine services trade for over 25 years. I’m a skilled marine engineer, stemming from a mechanic background in my earlier career, with logistical support being my other main area of expertise.

By Land:

Before moving to Spain, a number of years ago, I worked in the garage trade.  I moved to London in my early 20s.  I was a mechanic during the day and in the evenings, I was driving emergency recovery vehicles all over the south of England. This has given me a vast knowledge of towing all sizes of vehicles and trailers, driving trucks, operating cranes and managing logistics.

Over the last ten years, I was a partner in a successful boat maintenance, storage and sales business in Menorca and this highlighted the need for reliable boat delivery business.  Marsh Marine Services is now fulfilling that gap in the market.

By Sea:

My love of the sea began many years ago teaching Scuba Diving.  Driving boats became a must to get to the best dive sites.  Realising that boats often have a habit of letting you down at the most inconvenient moment, I soon put my mechanical skills to good use!

When I first arrived in Menorca, I worked for a large Dive Centre teaching diving, maintaining and skippering their fleet of boats.

I then moved on to work full time as an engineer for a large marine company.  Some of my time involved sea trialling, testing or delivering all size of boats.

I took this a step further and started working full time on private yachts, spending numerous hours at sea skippering and engineering throughout the central and western Mediterranean.
